Latest and greatest, and with 100% more piano!
This originally started with me playing around with a mixing template in FLStudio, but then it kind of escalated somewhat; and, well, here we are...
I'm still not quite sold on the vocals (which, if I may point out, are the first vocals I've included in a track) but given that I'm not myself a vocalist, there's only so much I can do before I have to fork out some money to fix the sample I was working with.
Once again making use of the FB-3300 from previous tracks, though this is alongside more traditional instruments including strings and a couple of pianos courtesy of FL Studios DirectWave VST. The vocals came from a public-domain sample pack I came across and had been looking for a reason to use, and while they're not perfect, I don't think it detracts from the overall result.
With this, I also decided to go all-out, rendering not only the cover art you see here (with the background image via pexels.com) but also producing a simple video, available on YouTube. I may be biased, but I think they suit the track.
Also, for the record, the "wind" you hear at the start of the track is not necessarily exactly as it may seem... ;-)
Either way, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed producing it.
